By the edge of Leazes lake, lies the carnival of the unusual, funny, attractive, and unbelievable that we like to call the Lakeside Stage featuring an all-star line-up of clowns, pixies, jugglers, unfeasibly tall men and the quintessential of Newcastle's grass-roots music. Straddling both days of the festival, the lakeside stage will showcase acts old and new, as well as being one of the festivals most random and eclectic zones.
