World Envirnment Day (2007)

World Environment Day is held each year on 5 June to increase public knowledge about environmental issues and promote greater understanding about the environmental problems facing future generations. Established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972, World Environment Day is an international day of community-led activities such as car-free street rallies, green concerts, tree planting, recycling and clean-up campaigns.

Turkish Society of the Northeast
The Turkish Society of the Northeast is a fundraising group that provides all proceeds to the Education & Dialogue Charity which helps children and teenagers to perform better in multi-cultural schools in the northeast and elsewhere in the country.
