Transport Zone
The Transport Zone will be welcoming nationally acclaimed Bicycology and their pedal powered sound-system, computer game boy and bubble-blowing machine. Not only that, they’ll be helping visitors make funny bike shaped specs, bike streamers, wallets from tetrapaks and jewellery from bike chains. Not to be outdone, our very own Recyke y Bike will be running bike repair demonstrations, giving out tips on safe cycling and bike security. Meanwhile cycling guru Ian McGeorge will be showing how to warm up those essential cycling muscles.
For the more environmentally conscious drivers, there’ll be computer-simulated eco-driving lessons and for pedestrians there’ll a whole host of exciting workshops all highlighting Living Streets’ Strider walk it campaign!
