The lakeside area 2012 and Solar powered stage is brought to you once again by Pangaea Sound System and is a vibrant spot to both chill-out in the sun (hopefully) and to listen to uplifting music, spoken-word, and cabaret style performances. The majority of the performances carry positive social messages, but not without sense of humour and fun. Expect to hear sounds solar powered by the sun, with flavours of the world from Folk to Funk, Roots to Reggae, Rock to Afrobeat through to Spoken word to ska and Caberet. With the bonus of visual stimulation including the backdrop of the lake, trees and some inspiring installations by our art team. If you’re feeling thirsty or peckish there’s also chai tea and cakes and other snacks from our friends the BeatRoot café.
